Some folks think that because the DNA test didn't match, Bill Long was not The Sundance Kid. Fact is, the parents of little Harry did not bother to record his birth date in the family Bible like they did the other siblings. They would have if they had known his birthday. As he grew up, he did not look like his siblings, or his parents either. It turns out that he was quarter native American. The Longabaugh's are German. He did live with the Longabaugh family until he was 15 when he came west. I therefore challenge anyone to prove to me that Harry Alonzo Longabaugh, AKA The Sundance Kid, AkA william Henry Long, was not adopted. Another thing to consider: What was my great grandpa Long doing with the picture of the Sundance Kid's sisters? They hung on the wall of his home for many years. First in Wayne County, then in Duchesne. His daughter, Viola, who is my grandmother, had those pictures for many years. I saw those pictures decades before they appeared in Donna Ernst's book. None of my family was ever in Pennsylvania and none of us ever knew any of the Longabaugh's except for great grandpa Long who claimed that they were his sisters. I have other evidences, but this should help put this controversy back on track. It's the truth that counts, nothing else even matters.

If they have, Heather, no one's told me.

I think they want to wait until the documentary is ready to air
before they give that info out.

Best,
GK

Well you see, a man always has a longing for home or what he considers home. Your idea sits rather well with me and i find it completely beleivable. Can't hardly wait to find out the results. Did they return this man to his place of rest ?

Loved reading "Etta." Glad I didn't read the dust cover first because the book was full of surprises. A good adventure for the reader. Great job.
